At A Cut Above, we use a special booster to enhance the effetivness of certain hair products.

Generally speaking, Japanese hair products are gentler than those from Western countries—

this includes perm, color treatments, and other hair care services.

While Japanese hair tends to be thick and dark. many people assume it is strong. However, it is actually    more absobent and fragile.

This is one of the reasons why Japanese hair products are typically formulated to be mild.

Additionally, we are not permitted to use foreign hair products freely for commercial purposes in Japan.

Therefor, we use a special booster to inprove the the performance of perms, color treatments, and keratin blow-outs.

In our previous post we recommended cool mode on your hair dryer, which is good for both your hair and scalp.
It will be easier to style afterwards and is eco friendly. It could also add body with a nice massage effect without any damage and nurture healthy hair.
Today we would like to explain how to use Hydrogen bonds technique on your hair after using a hairdryer in the cool mode.  This is the ideal time for the Hydrogen bonds to adapt to your hair.
Roll your hair with a brush or curler. Then add some heat on your hair with your hairdryer and switch off the heat to cool down a little bit.
You should get tight curl results without the risk of damage or burns as you would with an iron.

When hair is wet, it does not hold its shape. It holds its shape when it dries.
When the hair gets wet, it goes flat.
This is called hydrogen bonds of keratin. Blow drying and curler settings are techniques that we use .
The trick is to get the timing right.

In May we introduced a style with patial Keratin Blow-Dry .

And this time we would like to introduce a style with Keratin Blow-dry without using Iron , which is good for a person who dosn’t want to make it too straight.  It should keep the style without frizz in the rainy season, too.
